about
THE STORY:
I wrote this song about a year before it was released. When I wrote it, I intended for a girl to sing it, and when I couldn't find anyone to sing it, I had shelved it for a while.
Then I started dating Enkhjin. Her friend gave her a guitar for her birthday. One day we were hanging out at her place and I started playing "Someday". Just for fun I asked her to sing the song and it was perfect!
That was late July, and Enkhjin was due to leave for England in September, so we rushed to record and release the song before she left. We went into the studio and we were done in 3 hours. Enkhjin had never recorded in a studio before so I was afraid she might take longer, but she nailed it on her first try.
Then there was the problem of the video. We talked to a bunch of different people about making the video, but in the end, I just downloaded an 8mm app on my phone and took a bunch of footage around our hometown of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and edited it together.
That is the story of how this song came to be.

LYRICS:
I want to know if you're going to leave town someday
if you are I'm going to come with you someday
Don't want to go home right now will you let me stay
Please won't you tell me that you'll love me someday
I don't want to complicate it
I just think you're nice
I want to know if you'll settle down here someday
If you are I'll settle down with you someday
I don't need to understand you
I just want to fuck
